Terms of service

What you agree to by using cleap, and what cleap does not promise. Short, and honest about the fact that it is still being built.

1. This agreement

Using cleap means you accept these terms, which are between you and Movemoni Ltd.

cleap is a product of Movemoni Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under Company No. 16851668. These terms cover the cleap website and the cleap application. If you use cleap on behalf of a company, you are confirming you may accept these terms for it.

2. cleap is in beta

It is free while we build it, and it will change.

Features can appear, change or be withdrawn. We may introduce paid plans later; if we do, we will tell you before anything you rely on starts costing money. Nothing here is a commitment that a particular feature will continue to exist.

3. Your account

Keep it secure, and keep it yours.

You are responsible for what happens under your account, and for the people you invite into your workspace. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access to it. You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live.

4. Your code stays yours

Connecting a repository gives us no ownership of anything in it.

You keep every right you had in your code. You grant us only the permission needed to run the service for you: to read the repositories you connect, build a map of them, and show that map to you and the people you invite. Nothing more.

We do not train models on your code, and we do not let anyone else. How cleap handles it is set out in the privacy policy and, in mechanical detail, on the data page.

5. What you are responsible for

Having the right to connect what you connect.

Only connect repositories you are allowed to. If a repository belongs to an employer or a client, that is a permission you need from them, not from us. Do not use cleap to break the law, to infringe someone else's rights, or to attack the service or the people using it.

6. The map can be wrong

cleap reads code mechanically, and mechanical reading has limits.

A map is built by parsing your repository. Where something is assembled at runtime, cleap says so rather than guessing, but it can still miss a connection or draw one that does not matter. Plain-English labels and answers are generated by a model and can be wrong.

Do not treat the map as a substitute for reading the code when the stakes are high. It is a way to find your way around, not an authority on what your software does.

7. Availability

There is no uptime guarantee while cleap is in beta.

We may take the service down for maintenance, and it may be unavailable for reasons outside our control. We will not pretend otherwise in order to sound more established than we are.

8. Services cleap depends on

GitHub, Supabase, Railway, Vercel, Anthropic, Firecrawl and Resend.

cleap runs on top of these, and their own terms apply to their parts of the chain. If one of them is unavailable, part of cleap will be too. The security page says what each of them does and what it can see.

9. Ending it

You can stop at any time, and so can we.

Disconnect a source to delete its map, or delete your workspace to remove everything in it. Revoking the cleap-ingest App on GitHub stops all reads immediately. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or is being used to harm the service or other people, and we will tell you why unless we are prevented from doing so.

10. Liability

cleap is provided as it is, and our liability is limited to the extent the law allows.

We do not exclude liability for anything that cannot lawfully be excluded, including death or personal injury caused by negligence, and fraud. Beyond that, and given cleap is currently free, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost or corrupted data.

11. Changes to these terms

We will tell you before a material change takes effect.

The date at the bottom of this page is when the current version took effect. Continuing to use cleap after a change means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law

The laws of England and Wales, with its courts having jurisdiction.

If you are a consumer, this does not take away any protection you have under the law of the country you live in.
